17th of May! or what we Norwegians like to call it: "syttende mai!"
The Constitution of Norway was signed at Eidsvoll, at this day in 1814.
I have to celebrate it with a flue though....
We got children's parades where children from each schools walk in parades or "tog" holding the Norwegian flag, playing flutes and sing. In Oslo where the royal family lives, schools are walking around near the palace where the royal family is waiving. We are singing our national song "Ja vi elsker" (title in English: "Yes we love" or "yes we love this country").
We also have something called Russ (The graduating class from the Norwegian equivalent of high school). They celebrate this day a little different. Staying up all night and party, but do also have their parades.
The military parades is so damn cool, performed by the Royal Guard on the main street of Oslo. It's the only one by they way, but we can see it all on TV.
The best thing about this day is the food!!:3

in meexico my mom says that on flag day the children march arounf the city with a mexican flag so its almost similar except for the day
for our independence day in U.S its just parades but in mexico it is a huge thing!
